In recent years, there has been significant concern about clarity, stability and predictability of policy, legal and regulatory frameworks in Tanzania, but this does not mean that the country is uninvestable. The new President Samia Suluhu Hassan has urged government officials "to win back investor trust". This is a welcome move. Tanzania offers unique advantages to investors: a strategic geographical location, abundant natural resources, arable land, growing youthful population, wide supply base of raw materials, a liberalised economy, and political stability.

Dar es Salaam. Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan has today said there is need to regain investor trust in the country and bring back investors who shifted their businesses to other countries due to non-conducive business.
